Tui Na (pronounced "NAR twee 'and sometimes known as" Anmo) is the ancient form of Chinese massage. Is one of the main branches of Chinese medicine along with acupuncture, herbal medicine, Tai Chi / Chi Kung and nutrition. It is still very rare in the West but in China it is considered a treatment important, and can be found at most Chinese hospitals. Is it all 3000 years and many modern styles of massage like Swedish massage and Shiatsu are derived.
Tui Na is different from any other type of massage, both in theory and in practice. Therapists work with the physical body and energy body, which could use be recognized as massage techniques to relieve knots and tension of muscles, and at the same time, working with the meridians (channels) and to regulate acupuncture points and balance the energy flow (Qi) in the same way as in acupuncture. This means that there are a number of "Acupressure" Massage Tui Na acupressure techniques, and is sometimes called, although this term is also used for less sophisticated acupressure routines lack the underlying theories and understanding of Tui Na.
Tui Na can be divided into Yin and Yang styles. Yin style is a practice of healing by gentle light. It regulates and balances the energy (Qi), clearing stagnant meridians and strengthening the function of organs. This treatment is very gentle and relaxing.
The Yang style is a more physical uses technology that penetrates deep to break up muscle knots and tension. It is very effective in tight muscles and stiff, but not painful some deep massage can be.

A Tui Na Treament
